    News Feed in if.team: focus on what matters at the start of the workday

    We’ve added a new start screen — the News Feed. It helps teams begin the workday focused on the most important things, without switching between multiple dashboards or task lists.

    What the News Feed brings together

    • Weekly plans and workload: includes non-working days, planned leave, expected workload for each day, and already tracked time.
    • Priority tasks: overdue tasks and tasks with approaching deadlines are highlighted.
    • Team announcements and discussions: an internal feed for team communication with comments, reactions, and file sharing.

    Flexible access settings

    Roles allow you to define user permissions:

    • view only;
    • ability to post to the feed, comment, and react.

    If the feature is not needed, it can be disabled entirely or for selected roles.

    Coming next

    This is the first version of the News Feed (MVP). In upcoming updates, we plan to add:

    • important notifications and system events;
    • approval requests for documents, leave, etc.;
    • polls and voting;
    • custom widgets to tailor the start page for each user;
    • other improvements based on your feedback.
