How to add a new project?

There are two ways to add a project.

1st way to add project

1. Go to the “Projects” tab in the workspace.
2. Click the “Add project” button.

Second way to add project

1. Click the “+Add” button in the upper right corner.
2. Select the “Project” menu item.

Both methods open a dialog window in which you need to fill out all the required fields for the new project:

  1. Enter the name of the project.
  2. Select “Project type”: Fixed Price or Time&Material.
    Fixes Price or Fixed budget – the cost of the project is known in advance, but can change during the work, if necessary. For example, additional services are required, or you provide a discount. Any of your expenses do not affect the project budget. A typical pay-for-result scheme.
    Time&Material — the cost of the project is unknown from the very beginning. It is based on the calculation of the time spent and associated costs during the implementation of the project. Used for hourly payment of services, outstaffing, etc.
  3. Select a client from the list. If you add a new project before created a client card, the if.team service provides an opportunity to quickly add it: in the “Select client” drop-down list, click the text link “Create client”.

4. Fill out the fields: Full name, country, E-mail, phone, Telegram, WhatsApp, Description. Click the “Add client” button.

5. Specify the project budget, start date and end date.
6. Mark the possible task statuses, add Responsible. Members of the project by pressing “+” and ticking the necessary employees.

7. Choose the services related to the project, add a description and files (if necessary), check all filled-in fields and data, click the “Create” button.

8. The if.team service will redirect you to the page of the newly created project, where all information is collected: finance, incomes, expenses, description and files, rates, iterations, tasks.
